Louth County Council is holding a Public Participation Day to present the high-level, emerging flood relief options for Blackrock. The Council wishes to gather the views of all interested parties and ensure that the community, and any other relevant organisation, has a meaningful role in shaping any future flood protection for Blackrock.

At the event, participants will be able to:

  • View each high-level, shortlisted option,
  • See the constraints and opportunities,
  • Speak directly with project team members, and
  • Share your views by completing a questionnaire.

Your participation is valued and will support the decision‑making process in selecting a Preferred Flood Relief Option.

Date:  Thursday, 26th March 2026

Time:  11.00 am—7:00pm

Location:  Blackrock Suite, Fairways Hotel (A91 E6KC)

If you cannot attend on the day, the display information and questionnaire will be available on-line, from March 26th, at the project website— www.floodinfo.ie/dundalkfrs
