Dundalk’s location at the centre of the M1 Corridor offers businesses unrivalled access to talent and infrastructure, 2.25million people live within 60 minutes of Dundalk, one third the population of the island. The foreign owned companies with operations in the region include Irish Life, Kaseya, National Pen, Prometric, Wasdell Group and WuXi Biologics.

The Dundalk Chamber provides invaluable networking opportunities along with the support of business peers.  We work with Government and state agencies, and other local organisations promoting the region and will continue to develop further and sustain a strong network of relevant stakeholders and other decision makers in the region.

IDA Ireland

The IDA is the state agency tasked with attracting foreign investment to Ireland.

As well as assisting in identifying potential locations for businesses, the IDA may also provide financial incentives to multinationals.  The IDA’s Finnabair Business Park in Dundalk, adjacent to the Institute of Technology, provides building and Greenfield site solutions for overseas companies. IDA also has a developed land bank in Dundalk of circa 60 hectares (150 acres) capable of meeting the demands of large process related industry.

Enterprise Ireland supports Irish companies, to develop, grow and scale, and to achieve their global ambition.

Enterprise Ireland is the government agency responsible for the development and promotion of the indigenous business sector. Its mission is to accelerate the development of world-class Irish companies to achieve strong positions in global markets resulting in increased national and regional prosperity.  From start-ups to SMEs to global Irish companies, they provide funding, advisory and development supports, helping to drive world-class innovation.
