As we approach the end of the year and the festive season, I am delighted to reflect on what has been a strong and meaningful year for Dundalk Chamber and our business community.

From established employers to growing SMEs, the contribution of local business to Dundalk and the M1 Corridor is remarkable.

Throughout the year, Dundalk Chamber has focused on supporting our members, creating opportunities to connect, and championing the interests of business at every level. Whether through policy engagement, events, awards, or partnerships, our work is aimed at promoting Dundalk as a place to come and do business.

A special thank you to Alan Farrelly of UHY FDW and Brendan McGrath of WuXi Biologics for being our Corporate Sponsors in 2025.

We are looking forwards to announcing new Corporate Sponsors to accompany Alan and Brendan in 2026.

Dundalk Chamber have been running the Shop Local Voucher Scheme since 2015 and in that time, we have sold €12 Million, with a record €2.2 Million in 2025. A special thank you to the 330 businesses who accept our Shop Local Vouchers.

2025 has also been a very busy year when it comes to events, The Chamber ran over 35 events both large and small ranging from 20 attendees to 500. In total we had over 4,000 people attend our events. That’s an average of 114 people per event.

Our membership base has been steadily growing in recent years and we are delighted to have 277 members officially on our books in 2025.

I would like to sincerely thank our CEO, John McGahon, the Chamber team, our Board, sponsors and partners for their dedication and professionalism throughout the year.

Most importantly, thank you to our members for your continued trust, involvement and support.

The strength of Dundalk Chamber is, and always will be, its membership.

Looking ahead to the year to come, we do so with optimism and confidence. There are real opportunities ahead for Dundalk, and by working together we can continue to build a competitive and collaborative local economy.

On behalf of the Board of Dundalk Chamber, I would like to wish you, your families and your teams a very happy, peaceful and enjoyable Christmas, and every success in 2026.

Best wishes,

Hanna McDonnell

Dundalk Chamber President
