As spring arrives, it brings with it a renewed sense of energy, growth, and opportunity—and in Dundalk, that means it’s time for one of the most important community initiatives of the year: Dundalk Tidy Towns Spring Clean 2026.

This April, Dundalk Tidy Towns is proud to once again take part in An Taisce’s National Spring Clean, Ireland’s largest anti-litter campaign. Running throughout the month, this nationwide initiative encourages communities across the country to come together and take action against litter, helping to create cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments for everyone.

Community Litter Picks – Get Involved

Dundalk will mark the campaign with a full week of organised litter picks from April 18th to April 25th, and everyone is invited to participate. Whether you’re an individual, part of a local group, a business, school, or residents’ association, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in your area.  All litter picks will last approximately one hour, and all equipment will be provided—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to help!

If your organisation would like to arrange a clean-up in your own area, Dundalk Tidy Towns, please get in touch at dundalktidytowns@gmail.com.
