The announcement follows a recent Enterprise Ireland-led trade mission to Manchester, highlighting the growing importance of the UK market for Irish businesses. During the trade mission, Osborne officially opened its Manchester office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Minister Niamh Smyth TD, Jenny Melia, CEO of Enterprise Ireland, Cillian O’Kelly, Consul General of Ireland to Manchester, and Councillor Bev Craig, Leader of Manchester City Council (Pictured) The occasion marked a significant milestone in Osborne’s international expansion journey and underscored the company’s commitment to supporting businesses and talent across the United Kingdom. According to Enterprise Ireland’s latest UK Market Sentiment Survey, the North of England now accounts for 20% of Irish companies’ UK footprint, making it the second-largest UK region for Irish business activity after London.
Osborne’s expansion reflects this growing momentum. The company plans to create 10 new jobs in 2026, with significant further job creation and growth anticipated as the business expands its UK presence.
