Dundalk Chamber recently gathered for a business tour of Martin Food Equipment’s facility on Coes Road.

The event is part of the Chamber’s Business Tour Series supported by Local Enterprise Office Louth, where members are offered the opportunity to visit a specific business in Dundalk.

Speaking on the event, Dundalk Chamber CEO John McGahon said

“Martins Food Equipment have been operating in Dundalk since 1991, originally beside the Longwalk, then the Ramparts and now at their current home on the Coes Road. They currently employ 67 people and many who have been with the company since the very early days.

By hosting the tour, our members had the opportunity to explore one of Ireland’s leading end-to-end suppliers of commercial food service machinery, rapid-cook ovens, and top of the range coffee and gelato equipment.

The visit focused on showing Chamber members how Martin Food Equipment supports hospitality and food retail businesses across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Attendees were treated to live demonstrations in the company’s state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, seeing firsthand how advanced catering technology optimises kitchen speed and drives business growth.

Chris McGeough from Martin Food Equipment said

“It was an absolute pleasure hosting Chamber members at our facility. The tour allowed us to open our doors and show exactly what goes into supporting Irelands food-service industry.

We loved demonstrating how the equipment we produce can transform an operation’s bottom line. Our goal was to give Chamber members a practical look at modern culinary innovation, and we hope it sparks new ideas for how they can scale and streamline their own businesses.
