Dundalk Chamber, in partnership with CBPES, is delighted to invite local businesses to a Breakfast Briefing on the Economic Outlook for 2027, taking place on Wednesday 18th November from 8.30am to 10.00am.
What will the economic landscape look like in 2027, and what could it mean for businesses across the island of Ireland?
This free event will provide an opportunity to hear from John Fahey, Senior Economist at AIB, who will share his insights into the global economic environment and what businesses can expect as we look ahead to 2027. John has been Senior Economist at AIB since May 2013, with responsibility for coverage of the Irish economy, major international economies and related interest rate and foreign exchange markets.
During the briefing, John will explore three key areas:
- The global economic and geopolitical backdrop
- Interest rate and foreign exchange market review
- Performance, outlook/growth expectations for island of Ireland.
For businesses, understanding the wider economic environment can play an important role in planning for the year ahead, from investment and borrowing decisions to international trade, costs and growth.
