Tiger Stores To Open in Dundalk’s Marshes Shopping Centre

Danish brand Tiger Stores will open its sixteenth Irish store at the Marshes Shopping Centre, Dundalk, on Tuesday, June 16, creating seven local jobs.

Described as a variety store selling low cost high value items, ranging from €1 to maximum €30, Tiger Stores is set to bring Scandi-chic to Dundalk, and is a welcome addition to the Marshes Shopping Centre.

On hearing about the impending opening, Michael Gaynor, President of Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, commented: “Dundalk Chamber is delighted that Tiger Stores has chosen to open at the Marshes Shopping Centre. It’s fantastic to see such a successful brand coming to the area, creating new jobs and adding to our growing retail community. I know that the people of Dundalk will give them the warmest welcome and wish them every success.”

For Tiger Stores’ Operations Director Gillian Maxwell, Dundalk provided the perfect location for a new store. “Dundalk is a super town for shopping and it felt like an obvious next step for us. With Dundalk Institute of Technology and lots of international businesses based in the town, there is a real buzz around the Marshes, and we are really excited to be part of that. We can’t wait for June 16.”

Since arriving in Ireland just four years ago, Tiger Stores has amassed a portfolio of 16 stores nationwide, and with two top accolades from Retail Excellence Ireland under its belt, including Company of the Year and Best Small Company (under 100 employees) 2015, the brand really is one to watch.

From June 16, Dundalk shoppers can enjoy Tiger’s own brand design-led, low-cost colourful lifestyle products, from homewares to toys, stationery, toiletries and accessories, in a fun environment with friendly staff, where it’s a pleasure to shop. Plus, new stock deliveries every fortnight ensure Tiger delivers a consistently fresh shopping experience, making it a paradise for budget-conscious browsers and stylish shoppers alike.

Get to the Marshes Shopping Centre from 10am on Tuesday, June 16, and see why Tiger loves Dundalk!
