Moving to Dundalk?

Moving to Dundalk? Welcome! We can’t wait to meet you! You probably have a million questions like where to send your children to school? Where can I shop? What are the local facilities like? What emergency numbers do I need? Where to eat out?

Here’s what some of our current residents have to say….

I've lived in Dundalk most of my life and am lucky enough to work at Dundalk Institute of Technology. I cannot recommend moving to Dundalk enough. While living in a busy town you also are 10 minutes away from excellent beaches and parks in every direction, great for a dog owner like myself.

Paul Scollon, Web Designer

As I love nature I was delighted with the great view of the mountain and that we are near the sea. I love taking my dogs on long walks to the sea and the beautiful area of Ravensdale where there is a beautiful view of the town. I have made so many great friends here, for examples my neighbours are so friendly, they always help me if I have any problems. Dundalk is a great place to make your dreams come true!

Town History

Dundalk has a proud and very interesting history, dating from 3500BC to the Industrial Revolution, when the town really took off. You can read all about it here.
