SUMMARY:Business Briefing - Practical Immigration Considerations for your Business
DESCRIPTION:Businesses across Ireland continue to navigate an evolving immigration landscape\, making it more important than ever to stay informed on compliance\, workforce planning\, and future developments. \nIn 2025\, our Chamber completed a Roundtable Series of Members. One of the key\, consistent challenges that emerged was the difficulty businesses face in finding clear\, practical guidance on managing corporate immigration programs effectively. \nTo directly address this\, we have partnered with industry experts to provide a foundational overview of Ireland’s business immigration structures alongside the latest policy shifts and anticipated future developments to help you prepare. \nJoin us on Tuesday 16th June for an insightful session with guest speakers Phillip McNally\, Senior Manager and Danielle Morris Manager of Deloitte Ireland LLP’s Immigration team.  This session will provide practical guidance and expert insight into the key immigration considerations currently impacting employers and businesses operating in Ireland. \nTopics covered will include: \n\nIreland business immigration overview\nRecent business immigration changes\nCurrent challenges and flags for employers\nCompliance and risk considerations\nFuture developments and anticipated changes\nManaging your immigration programme – key tips for employers\n\nThis briefing is ideal for business owners\, HR professionals\, senior management teams\, and anyone responsible for workforce planning or employee mobility.  The session will also provide an opportunity to network with fellow businesses over breakfast while gaining practical knowledge from industry experts. \nWe look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a highly informative and valuable event.

SUMMARY:Living City Initiative Information Session
DESCRIPTION:With Louth County Council calling on the owners of properties in Dundalk and Drogheda to take part in the Living City Initiative the Chamber are hosting an Information Session for interest property owners. \nThe initiative gives owners of properties built before 1975 within the designated Special Regeneration Areas (SRAs) financial support to repair\, improve or convert older buildings. This includes turning vacant upper floors and “over‑the‑shop” spaces into homes. \nThe Living City Initiative gives property owners a practical way to reduce the cost of building works through tax relief. It supports owners to bring vacant or under‑used buildings back into use\, improve the condition of their properties and increase their value. It can also help create new homes or business spaces in town centres\, offering the chance to generate rental income and make better use of existing buildings. It will also help protect and reuse historic buildings while supporting more sustainable development and stronger communities. \nProperty owners who believe their building may qualify are encouraged to contact Louth County Council at livingcity@louthcoco.ie or visit www.louthcoco.ie for information on how the scheme works\, eligibility criteria\, and how to apply. \nThey can also follow Louth County Council on social media for updates or come along to the information session. \n
