SUMMARY:CBPES Event on Business Supports for SMEs in the Cross Border Region
DESCRIPTION:Businesses operating in the cross-border region face unique opportunities and challenges when it comes to recruitment\, growth\, and accessing supports. To help SMEs navigate the supports available\, Dundalk Chamber with our partners CBPES are hosting a free lunchtime event focused on Business Supports for SMEs in the Cross Border Region. \nThis FREE lunchtime session will bring together a number of organisations that support businesses operating across the border\, including: \n\nCBPES\nDepartment of Social Protection\nDepartment for Communities\nInterTradeIreland\nLocal Enterprise Office Louth\n\nDuring the event\, businesses will receive practical information and guidance on a range of important topics\, including: \n\nInformation and advice on recruiting cross-border workers in Ireland\nSupport grants available to SMEs in the cross-border region\nHow to tap into the skills pool available across the border\nWhat financial supports and incentives are available when recruiting new staff\n\n  \nThe event will also feature a case study from an SME that has previously availed of these incentives and will share their experiences of accessing supports and growing their workforce. \nThis event will provide a valuable opportunity for business owners\, managers\, and HR professionals to learn about the supports available to help their organisations grow while also connecting with agencies that provide assistance to businesses operating across the region. Taking place on Wednesday 10th June from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at the Canal Court Hotel. Lunch will be provided for attendees.

SUMMARY:Annual Golf Classic 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Dundalk Chamber Annual Golf Classic sponsored by Servisource takes place on Friday 28th August in Dundalk Golf Club\, Blackrock\, County Louth. \nThe Golf Classic is an ideal occasion for entertaining colleagues\, customers\, business associates or friends in an enjoyable\, relaxed\, sporting and social outing where participants’ enjoyment is our top priority. This event is a sell out every year with over fifty teams playing on the day. \nThe competition will be Stableford with the two best scores counting. Teams of four players\, Ladies and/or Gents\, who will play off their official G.U.I Handicaps: (Max TBA) Tee-off times will commence from 8.30am to 4.30pm.  Excellent prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd winning teams. \nTeam Cost – €350 plus VAT \nHole Sponsorship – €200 plus VAT \n  \nAbout Dundalk Golf Club \nFounded in 1905\, the Club is unquestionably one of Ireland’s finest parkland layouts. \nSet above the village of Blackrock\, the course offers magnificent views of the nearby Cooley and Mourne mountains\, the Irish Sea and Dundalk Bay. \nThey host National\, International and PGA events on a regular basis\, Dundalk Golf Club is a wonderful test of golf where visitors will receive the warmest of welcomes. \n
