Dundalk is great for shopping and boasts a great mix of independent, locally-owned stores and well-known high street retailers. As well as the many stores to be found in town centre, there is also an extensive retail park on the outskirts of town.

Perhaps Dundalk’s best-kept secret though is that it's a real hidden gem when it comes to boutique-shopping.  Dedicated fashion fans, always on the look-out for something different and unique from what’s available in the high-street stores, will have a ball discovering the unique stores here. The Long Walk Shopping Centre as well as the The Marshes Shopping Centre have a high concentration of boutiques and retail outlets and Bridge Street Studios is also a great place to pick up unusual jewellery or pieces of art for the home from local designers.

The following information should be useful for anyone shopping in Dundalk. Be sure to also familiarise yourself with the numerous Cafés, Bistros and Restaurants in town so you know where to stop and take a breather! If you plan on staying overnight and need accommodation, check this link.
