Perhaps Dundalk’s best-kept secret though is that it's a real hidden gem when it comes to boutique-shopping.  Dedicated fashion fans, always on the look-out for something different and unique from what’s available in the high-street stores, will have a ball discovering the unique stores here. The Long Walk Shopping Centre as well as the The Marshes Shopping Centre have a high concentration of boutiques and retail outlets and Bridge Street Studios is also a great place to pick up unusual jewellery or pieces of art for the home from local designers.

Opened in 2005, The Marshes claims to be "the last word in shopping". With it's stunning architecture and abundance of shops and boutiques, it come pretty close!

The Retail Park on the Inner Relief road (just down form the Crown Plaza Hotel) is fast becoming on the hottest shopping spots in the county. With names such as PC World, Currys, Harvey Norman, Smyths, Halfords, Argos and Woodies, are you surprised?

Dundalk has a long-standing tradition of street markets and stalls. In fact, Market Square at the centre of town got it's name fro being just that for many hundreds of years. The tradition carries on today with regular stalls on the street and indoor markets too.

The Longwalk Shopping Centre, located off Clanbrassil Street is right in the heart of Dundalk's main shopping thoroughfare. The centre comprises approximately 90,000 sq. ft. over a single level with over 38 stores and more than 450 car (free) parking spaces.
