The Bar One Racing dual race day is taking place at Dundalk Stadium this coming Saturday, 15th August.
This is the 2nd Dual Race Day at Dundalk Stadium this summer season combining an exciting programme of horse and greyhound racing. Horse racing commences at 2:15pm with a 7 race card and the evening’s greyhound racing will commence at 7:45pm with the annual Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup Final. The Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup is Ireland’s only sprint Classic event with a total prize fund of over €70,000 and a winner’s purse of €35,000.
Barney O’Hare, Managing Director of Bar One Racing, said, “This is the 2nd year that Bar One Racing has sponsored the dual race day at Dundalk Stadium and the 6th year sponsoring the Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup Final. The Sprint Cup this year is shaping up to be an exciting contest with no shock eliminations the top Sprinter’s in the country are still vying for the €70,000 prize fund and I look forward to seeing who remains to contest the title.”
The Bar One Racing Dual Race Day will be non-stop fun with FREE activities -- racing talks and tours for kids (and grown ups) where you will have the chance to learn more about the world of racing in a fun and interactive way.
Be in with a chance to win some amazing prizes and why not join us in the Family Fun Marquee where we will host a TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC in the afternoon. Kids are invited to bring their teddy's and join the fun!!
Just outside of the marquee will be outdoor fun for the kids with a bouncy castle and other games to keep them entertained throughout the race day!!

Tickets are not required for this event and doors open at 12:30pm.
