Dundalk – a great place to live, work and study...

As the principal centre in the middle of the East coast

and one of the largest urban centres in Ireland,

Dundalk has lots to offer those who wish to relocate

or move out of Dublin.

Dundalk has an ancient history with the mythical

warrior Cúchulainn, the town's crest reads,

"Me do rug Cú Chulainn Croga" - I gave birth to brave

Cú Chulainn.

Government services, shopping, employment opportunities, industry, education, leisure and beautiful scenery – you’ll find it all here. And Dundalk's position midway between Belfast and Dublin, linked by the new M1 motorway and supported by an excellent public transport service, also makes it ideal for those who need to commute to the two major cities.

Dundalk has also been selected as a Gateway Centre for Development by the government and is set to become Ireland’s first new city of the 21st Century. More recently the new Hibernia Atlantic's cable network which will soon be established allows for high speed connection world wide, it will give North American companies operating here greater cost control eradicating expensive connections via UK or Europe.

In recent years Dundalk has seen the development of new sporting facilities including the JJB Soccer Dome, Dundalk Ice Dome and Ireland's first all weather Horse racing track which opened in August 2007. In December2009/January 2010 Dundalk hosts the International Student Riders Nations World Cup Finals which will be staged at Ravensdale Lodge Equestrian Centre.

The town has great shopping and leisure facilities.  With a bustling night, a wide range of bars, restaurants and night clubs you will be spoiled for choice.

On this site you’ll find all the information you’ll

need if you’re considering a move to Dundalk.
