Dundalk and its environs are home to a number of fantastic golf courses so whether you’re a golf fanatic or an occasional player there is something to cater for all needs and handicaps. 

Ardee Golf Club
Measuring 6,490 yards from the back tees, this challenging 18-hole parkland course will test all levels of golfer. The course is guarded by tree-lined fairways and water comes into play on 9 of the 18 holes.  The club also has a clubhouse and pro shop.

Ballymascanlon House Hotel Golf Course

This 18-hole parkland golf course, designed by the internationally renowned Craddock & Ruddy, is set in mature woodlands amidst the Cooley landscape just 2 km from Dundalk town centre.  With a Par 68, this course is challenging yet rewarding and should please golfers of all levels. 

Carnbeg Golf Course
Located at the Park Inn Hotel in Dundalk, the 18-hole Carnbeg Golf Course boasts a spectacular setting with the Cooley Peninsula providing a dramatic backdrop.  Designed by the renowned team of Eddie Hackett and Tom Craddock, this parkland course will challenge golfers of all levels and has a par 72. 

Dundalk Golf Club
Located just outside Dundalk in Blackrock, Dundalk Golf Club offers magnificent views of the nearby Cooley and Mourne mountains, the Irish Sea and Dundalk Bay.  The 18-hole, Par 72 course is a wonderful test of golf and hosts National, International and PGA events on a regular basis.  The club also has a state-of-the-art driving range, pitching green and putting green.

Greenore Golf Club
Founded in 1896, Greenore Golf Club is situated on the shores of Carlingford Lough, approx 12 km from Dundalk.  This 18-hole championship links course enjoys scenic views of the Lough and the Mourne Mountains and offers a challenge to every type of golfer. The course also has a practice range, a chipping and putting green and golfers can relax for a meal or a drink after their game in the course’s clubhouse. 

Killin Park Golf Club
Situated in rolling parkland, mature trees and scenic views of Cooley Mountains. Killin Park is a Par 69, 18-hole parkland course just 4km west of Dundalk town centre. It provides a unique blend of challenging golf, scenery and warm hospitality. Tel: +353 (0) 42 933 9303
