The An Táin theatre, located in Dundalk Town Hall, was recently refurbished and boasts a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, new seating arrangements and an all day booking office. The theatre has a wide and varied programme from music and dance performances to comedy and dance acts and children’s shows.

The venue also features The Basement Gallery which mounts large-scale exhibitions with work from local, national, and international artists and various art workshops throughout the year. Open Monday-Friday 10am-4.30pm and Saturday 10am-1pm.

The Spirit Store
A haven for relaxation, conversation, great beer and quality live entertainment, the Spirit Store is focussed on the creative, cultural, musical and arts activities in Dundalk.  The pub features a permanent live venue on the first floor with a wide range of events including drama, poetry readings, comedy nights, functions and gigs.  There are traditional sessions in the bar every Sunday night.
