Crafty Kids offer an exciting range of painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, clay modelling, textiles, printing, felt and pottery, in a professional artist studio. While having fun Artists Rachel Tinniswood, Mary Cowan & Sarah McKenna focus on skill development, exploring techniques and encouraging individual creativity.

Dundalk School of Music (DSM), the area’s first comprehensive music education and training centre and enables students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to reach their musical potential, to develop self-esteem and confidence and to play their part in a culturally rich community in this part of Ireland.

The Department of Music and Creative Media at local Dundalk Institute of Technology house some of the purest up and coming talent in the area. Music recitals, stage shows and multimedia exhibitions are all common on the campus throughout the year.

The County Museum, Dundalk is located in a beautifully restored late 18th century warehouse in the Carroll Centre at Roden Place in Jocelyn Street. Funded by Dundalk Town Council the museum opened in 1994 and offers an extensive programme of permanent exhibitions, temporary displays, drama presentations, music recitals, lecture and film.

A former gaol, this building was donated to Comhaltas by the Louth County Council. The building has undergone extensive adaptations, and you can look forward to a warm welcome when you visit.

An Táin Theatre has a wide and varied programme from music and dance performances to comedy acts, dance acts and children’s shows.
