A Family Fun Day will take place at Dundalk Stadium on Sunday, 14th August 2011. This is part of the Bar One Racing Dual Race Day that will see greyhound racing as well as horse racing take place.
Children’s activities on the race day will include bouncing castles, face painting and even include a children’s craft corner. Goodies will be given away throughout the race day and fun is guaranteed for all. The bouncing castles will be supervised throughout the day. Additional gaming areas will also be supervised.
Tickets are not required for this event and doors open at 12:30pm. Restaurant spaces for families are currently available and bookings in advance are recommended to avoid disappointment.

Horse racing will commence at 3.05pm with a 7 race card. Greyhound racing will take place in the evening at 7:30pm with the annual Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup Final. Ireland’s only sprint Classic event, The Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup has a total prize fund of €35,000 and a winner’s purse of €20,000.
The official trap draw for the 2011 Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup Classic was completed last Saturday, August 6 by Mr. Francis Carroll on behalf of Bar One Racing and Mrs. Margaret Kavanagh, Racing Manager at Dundalk Stadium. The results of the trap draw are as follows:
